I serve as a Chief Business Official in a large school district, where I focus on making systems work, stretching every dollar, and ensuring the work delivers results for students and staff. I came into education after a decade in banking, which shapes how I approach the role, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accountability, and whether what we are doing is actually producing outcomes. I spend much of my time solving complex problems, managing through tight budget conditions, and building teams that execute at a high level. I keep the approach practical and direct, if something is not working, it gets fixed, if a system slows people down, it gets redesigned, and if there is a better way to do the work, we go find it, with the goal of leaving systems stronger, more efficient, and built to sustain improvement over time.
